Ceramic Resonators with enlarged temperature range
We have successfully extended the temperature range of the existing 16 MHz resonator 12.99317, 3.2x 1.3 mm from industrial temperatures of 85°C to up to 125°C.
The compact resonator with built-in capacitors completes the GEYER KX-ZTT CE MG product family and can be offered in applications where the emphasis is rather on mechanical robustness and effective pricing than on high precision.
Due to their technical characteristics, resonators can be used in telecommunications devices, industrial applications, IoT projects and consumer goods, among others.
Having built-in capacitors, resonators can be easily used for design-in projects. In this particular case, the temperature range of an existing application can be extended by using this new component, provided that all the other components also support the extended temperature range as well.
The GEYER KX-ZTT CE MG family shows following characteristics
- Frequency range from 8 to 16 MHz
- Frequency accuracy of 0,5% at 25°C
- Frequency stability of 0,2% to 0,3% depending on the temperature range
- Normal and industrial range from -40 to 85°C
- Extended temperatures until 125°c for special frequencies
- Standard 15 pF inbuild capacitors, or other values such as 10, 22, 30 or 33 pF
- Low ESR values of 40 Ohm max.
