Smart Environment

Sustainability, safety and a high quality of life are today’s requirements for the future.

In a smart city, modern technologies from the fields of energy, mobility, urban planning, administration and communication are networked in such a way that the quality of life for residents is improved.

Modern, intelligent buildings are usually automated, energy-efficient, supply energy generated decentrally and precisely controlled in terms of their consumption. Not only new buildings but also existing buildings can become smart buildings as part of modernization and renovation projects. SMART metering is the predominantly used generic term for consumption recording, control and data transmission for water, gas, etc. Precise time synchronization and reliable data transmission as well as low power consumption of the devices.

Another aspect of SMART Cities is the concept of SMART Urban Mobility.

Whether it is the construction of new infrastructures or the optimization of existing ones, the aim is to continuously improve mobility in cities and regions. For this purpose, mobility data, real-time traffic data and other relevant parameters are recorded by small HW boxes in e-bikes, cars, etc., transmitted and then analyzed centrally.

We set the pace for smart cities

Our products are easy to overlook because of their small size. And yet they are important clocks everywhere in cities: in the center console of the car, the traffic light at the intersection, the parking guidance system in the parking garage, the smoke detector in the museum, the sliding door in the department store.

Low power consumption and low tolerances, coupled with excellent performance in extreme weather and vibration conditions, make our products the right choice for networking applications in smart cities.

LoRa technology and LoRa WAN are now an integral part of the Smart City and Smart Building concept and are fully supported by our products.

GEYER products are an integral part of intelligent concepts for demand-based control of heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting solutions.
