KX-2 – an optimal product in hearing aids
Another revolutionary step in the healthcare industry
The development in the field of medical care and in particular in the development and manufacture of hearing aids has been enormous in recent years, and the wave has not yet stopped.
Devices are becoming smaller and more powerful and at the same time more affordable.
Crystals are a key component in meeting the accuracy and environmental requirements of today’s and tomorrow’s hearing aids. To ensure the reliability of all important functions of modern hearing aids, microcontrollers or SoCs use frequencies in the MHz range. These frequencies are critical for accurate and stable operational processing and short-range communication technologies such as
Thread & Matter, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
With dimensions of just 1.0 x 0.8 x 0.34 mm, the ultra-compact KX-2 crystal is currently one of the smallest crystals in its class on the electronics market. It ranges from 40-100 MHz and is currently available from stock with 48 MHz and various load capacities.
