Resonators for space-saving applications
Product overview and technical data
What are resonators?
Ceramic resonators are electronic components made of piezoceramics.
In conjunction with an electronic oscillator circuit, the resonator determines the oscillation frequency and the circuit generates an output signal with a specific frequency. Similar to a crystal, it is used in an oscillator circuit to generate clock signals to control timing in electronic circuits.
What are resonators needed for?
Mainly resonators are used as clock signal generators for microprocessors, where the accuracy of the frequency is not so important.
